Potter, Clint A. Riley was born in Union City, Tennessee and now lives in Martin, Tennessee.  He recieved his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Art with an emphasis in Ceramics from the University of Tennessee at Martin.  He was then accepted into graduate school to begin his master of Fine Arts in sculputre.  After studing one year, he decided to become a full time studio potter in Martin, TN. 

Clint has taught as an adjunct professor of Art as well as continuing education at UTM. 

"My work is functional as well as sculptural, you decide which to use it for, for function or art.  The main focus is on wheel thrown and altered pieces."
